FDF (Folk Dance Festival); is a national traditional Greek Dance competition hosted in San Francisco, or Southern California and has over 100 dance groups. I have led and instructed middle school and high school dance groups to represent Portland for the last 6 years.
Every year there is a different theme for the design of the event. For this project I wanted to create an event brand for the 50th anniversary of FDF, which would be in 2026.
I wanted to create promotional posters that could be sent to all the Greek Orthodox churches in America, these posters would be promoting the 5 decades of dance. I also wanted to create a booklet that briefly covers the main regions of Greece, the booklet would be educational to the viewers and also the dancers.
